Scottish Style Tug of War: Join the tug of war following the Opening Ceremonies. Take sides with the Scots or, if you wish, pull for the Irish. It’s loads of fun for young and old. After the adults demonstrate their physical prowess, the kids get their chance to pull on the big rope.

• Clan tents & clans parade
• Pipe Band and Individual Piping & Drumming competitions
• Heavy Athletics competition, including the caber toss
• Highland Dance competition
• Scottish country dance and some terrific live Celtic entertainment
• “Hielan’ coos” exhibit (A.K.A. highland cattle)​​​
• Clydesdale horses exhibit
• Sheepherding demonstrations
